The Sino Russian Media Dialogue will focus on telling good stories about the friendship between the two countries in the new era

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, August 1st (Reporter Wang Chendi and Wei Zhongjie) The China Russia Media Dialogue and the 3rd "China Russia Youth Walk the Friendship Road Together" Media Briefing organized by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries were held in Beijing on July 31st. The China Russia Friendship Association and more than 20 mainstream media representatives have conducted exchanges and discussions on how to tell the story of China Russia friendship in the new era and deepen cooperation between the two countries' media.



Representatives from many Russian media such as Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Tass News Agency and Russia Today News Agency shared friendly stories with Chinese media counterparts such as People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency and China Central Radio and Television, such as the two countries working together to fight the COVID-19, inviting each other to recuperate children in the disaster area, and exchanged views on how to enhance the international influence of the media of the two countries, promote mutual understanding between the people of the two countries, and play a role in various platforms.



Yan Dong, Vice President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, stated that media exchanges are an important component of strategic cooperation and cultural cooperation between China and Russia, as well as an important platform for telling the story of China and Russia well and promoting China Russia friendship. In recent years, under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, mainstream media between China and Russia have carried out in-depth exchanges and cooperation in news reporting, media industry, emerging media, publishing and distribution, film and television production, and achieved fruitful results, starting from the overall development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Russia in the new era. The cooperation between China and Russia's media is not only related to the development of China Russia relations, but also the need of the times to promote regional stability and world peace, and build a community with a shared future for mankind.



Vice Chairman of the Russo China Friendship Association, Asipov, shared the unforgettable experience of his elders working in China as Soviet experts. He stated that cultivating friendship between young people from Russia and China is very important, and they will undoubtedly become the backbone of promoting friendship between the two countries in the future. The media of both countries should play a greater role in youth exchanges and use their platform advantages to let more young people understand the mission they shoulder.



The Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries stated that in order to further promote the concept of generations of friendship and win-win cooperation between China and Russia, and to pass on the flame of friendship between China and Russia, the third "China Russia Youth Walk the Friendship Road Together" event will be held from August 21 to 25 this year.
