Two Sino Japanese economic and trade exchange activities merged and held in Jinan

On July 18th, the reporter learned from the press conference of the Jinan Municipal Party Committee and Government that the opening ceremony of the Third China Japan Industrial Innovation and Development Exchange Conference and the 2023 Japan (Shandong) Import Commodities Expo was held at Shandong Building from July 20th to 21st. The exhibition and related supporting activities of the Import Commodities Expo will be held at the Jinan Shungeng International Convention and Exhibition Center from July 21st to 24th.

The China Japan Industrial Innovation and Development Exchange Conference and the Japan (Shandong) Import Commodities Expo are two important Sino Japanese exchange events in the province, both of which have been successfully held in Jinan for two times. This year, two events will be held together, organically integrating, blending, and promoting each other, working together to create a high-level open platform for Jinan's economic and trade cooperation with Japan.

During the event, the top executives of the top 5 Japanese companies will gather in Jinan for the first time, with nearly 20 Fortune Global 500 companies participating and more than 500 brands from nearly 300 Japanese companies participating. Thousands of professional buyers from China will attend the conference to negotiate and purchase.

The Japan (Shandong) Import Goods Expo has a total exhibition area of approximately 20000 square meters, with five themed exhibition areas including medical and health care, smart life, fashion life, cultural tourism, and service trade, as well as a VIP city exhibition area. It will comprehensively showcase various imported goods from Japan, with a focus on showcasing high-end consumer goods, medical and health products, and specialty goods.
